Assam Sanskrutik Mahasangram

Sanskritik Mahasangram for people was introduced by the chief minister of the state of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma. Assam’s diverse and distinctive cultural legacy is being promoted through this particularly created Grand Cultural Event. Sangeet and dance competitions are being used by the Assam government to promote the state’s cultural heritage. 

Beginning on 25th October, this festival will have Jyoti Sangeet, Tribal Dance and Ravindra Sangeet. On 7 February 2024, in Guwahati, the grand event will take place. Candidates that advance through all levels of the Sanskrit Mahasangram will compete in its Grand Finale. In the fiscal year 2024, the Assam government would contribute 33 crore to the Sanskritik Mahasangram. According to the gram panchayat, ward, district and state levels, candidates will get prizes.
