The first step is to cook the noodles first. In a large pot, add about 5 cups of water, noodles, salt and oil. Cook the noodles until you can feel its texture between your thumb and finger. Once done, immediately drain the water and run them under cold water.

Drizzle the remaining 1 tbsp oil over the noodles and leave in a colander to drain further. Then in a pan heated 6 tbsp, and onions and garlic move over high heat, fry. Add the chicken and salt and stir a few times. Add soy sauce, celery, vinegar and chili sauce. Mix well. Add the cooked noodles, mix well and serve hot. Chicken chowmien is ready!
