Glad that my sons have made their mark- Shankar Mahadevan

Shankar Mahadevan is part of the composer trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. But apart from the group, he also has a distinct identity as a singer of stage and classical music. And, Shankar is happy that his sons, singers Siddharth Mahadevan and Shivam Mahadevan, are managing to make their mark. “It is very good for a father to see his children fleeing, and not to live in the shadows.” It is enough to see my children making a mark,” said the Padma Shri recipient.

55-year-old Shankar’s best time is when he composes music with his sons. “When I go on stage and sing as a band with both my kids, it feels amazing. I cannot explain the experience enough.
