Indian Railways is always on the lookout for making rail passenger journeys easy and comfortable. From initiating private train services to allowing pets on board, Indian Railways never leaves a stone unturned when it comes to providing travelers with convenience. Pets are actually like family members and therefore, Indian Railways has made it extremely easy for passengers to travel with their pets by following certain guidelines by the legal body. Railroads have regulations and guidelines to follow depending on the size of animals from elephants to birds. Although some animals must be transported in separate dedicated buses, pets such as cats and dogs can accompany their masters on the same coaches.
