M.Sc. minimum qualification for admittance to the program involves any one of the degrees or their equivalent: B.A / B.Com in Economics / B.Sc. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Physics or Mathematics) / B.Stat. / B.E. At least 55% aggregate marks for Economics subject and 60% aggregate marks for other subjects. Applicant must have studied Mathematics at a higher secondary or higher level. Reservation policy as per rules of the Government of India.
