The IGNOU 2023 admission cycle is officially closed for applications. There are currently no application forms available for new admission for a variety of BA, MA, MBA, BSc, BCom, MCom, or other degrees. For all programmes (apart from certificate and semester-based courses), the deadline to apply was March 31, 2023. The UGC-approved institution offers admission to reputable programmes at the undergraduate and graduate levels using both online and offline methods.
What is the application deadline for the 2023 IGNOU session?
The deadline for IGNOU 2023 admissions for all programmes, including MA, BLIS, MCom, and BTS, was March 31, 2023. After this date, application forms won’t be accepted anymore.
Application Fee: The IGNOU Admission 2023 January session application fee for applicants in the general category is INR 300. The University has published a notification for the fee waiver for the specific entrance cycle. Only SC/ST students who are eligible for one programme will be eligible for the fee waiver.

In contrast to a master’s degree in journalism, IGNOU recently established four new management courses at the PG Diploma level. Additionally, ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in now offers online PGJMC (PG Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication) for January admission.
Students can enrol in these recently added courses in ODL mode at admission.ignou.ac.in. The deadline for students to submit their IGNOU assignment for the June TEE is May 15, 2023.

2023 IGNOU Entrance Exam
Passing test scores determine admission to a select set of IGNOU specialised programmes, including BEd, post-basic nursing, Ph.D., etc. The university either plans or approves the entrance tests to grant admission. OPENNET, the BEd Entrance Exam, the PhD Entrance Exam, and others are well-known entrance exams for admission to IGNOU-selected programmes.
In general, IGNOU bases admission to its UG, PG, Diploma, and Certificate level programmes on a merit list. However, entrance exams are held for a few of the courses.
The IGNOU entrance test for B.Ed/BSc Nursing must be passed by those who wish to study B.Ed/BSc Nursing at IGNOU.
For PhD programmes, candidates must take the entrance exam.
Online Admission Procedure for IGNOU 2023 [How to Use]
IGNOU students who intend to submit an application for desired, must follow the following steps:
- Visit ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in to access the Indira Gandhi National Open University’s official website.
- Jan Admission IGNOU 2023. By establishing a username and password, you can register.
- Use the username and password you created when filling out the form to log in again.
- Then, click the link to the online application form.
- Include all of your academic and personal information.
- Upload all of your scanned copies of the required documentation, including recent photos, certificates, and mark sheets.
- Pay with a debit card, credit card, or net banking.
- Take a copy of the form’s printout for your records.
- For frequent logins, it’s necessary to remember your username and password.
