- Candidates must have been age between 09 to 13 Years.
- Candidates must have passed in class V for a recognized Board.
- Candidates must have not applied in the JNVST Earlier Exam.
Class 9th
- Candidates must have been age between 13 to 16 Years.

- Area wise: Rural & Urban –75%: 25%
- Gender wise: Boys & Girls –67%: 33%
- Category wise: SC & ST –Minimum 15% and & 7%; Maximum 50% for both the categories taken together.
- Physically Handicapped: 3%
- Students for class 6th to 8th are no fees.
- Students for class 9th to 12h fees: Rs 1200/- per annum.
