Ola Electric CEO Bhavish Aggarwal has released a video giving the audience a glimpse into the Ola Electric vehicle industry. Aggarwal chose the occasion of World Electric Vehicle Day to show the public how they are working on the vehicle that is scheduled to be launched in the Indian market in 2024. The video gives the audience an insight into the efforts the team has put into designing the company’s first vehicle. Specifically, the video shared on Twitter shows the car’s design process and its many stages.
The video begins with the initial stage of Ola’s design on a computer and then moves on to show the electric car’s mud-brushed design. The video also shows a designer putting the Ola logo on the clay car model. Moreover, it gives an idea of what the company’s first car will look like. If one uses one’s imagination to some extent, it is possible to see the red car shown in the joke earlier in the face of the clay model.

Mud models show what the front end of an Ola Electric would look like with the front end slightly extended. The model’s face also has three black stripes. Furthermore, the profile shows smooth curves and a similar roof design that complements the structure. On a closer look, Ola appears to be working deeply on the car’s aerodynamics.

Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal shared the video with the caption, “Taking #EndICEAge to the next level. This World Electric Vehicle Day, sharing a glimpse into the future. 2024 isn’t far away.” This is the first time after it was announced on August 15 that the company’s CEO had shared a glimpse into the car’s evolution.
Based on previously disclosed information, the Ola Electric will have a rapid power delivery system that takes the vehicle from 0-100 km/h in four seconds. As mentioned earlier, it will have an aerodynamic design with a drag coefficient of less than 0.21 cdr. Similarly, the car is supposed to have a range of more than 500 km on a single charge.
