Speaking about their split and the speculation surrounding her love life, Olivia told Variety- “The most painful element of it was women shaming me because I made a choice that was for my own health and happiness.”
She went on to discuss with the publication the double standards she’s faced since the split.
Variety noted, “If she and Styles are photographed together, she will be judged for dating a younger man; just as often she is labeled an absent mother.’
Olivia explained, “When people don’t see me with my kids, they’re always like, ‘How dare she.’
“I’ve never seen anyone say that about a guy. And when he’s with his kid, he’s a fucking hero.”

Olivia and ex Jason were in a relationship for almost a decade from 2011 to 2020, and in the same interview she slammed her ex-fiancé for serving his custody papers in front of a large audience on the CinemaCon 2022 stage in April.
The actress called the horrific incident “an assault on her workplace,” but said she wasn’t surprised it happened because there was a “reason” for her to leave the relationship.
Four months ago, Olivia was on the stage at ComicCon in Las Vegas to promote her upcoming film, Don’t Worry Darling, when she was bombarded with a petition from Jason – who wanted his kids with him in New York live in the city.

A source close to the former couple exclusively told DailyMail.com in April that Jason had “no idea” the papers were being delivered to her this way.
Meanwhile, Olivia recently won a legal victory when a judge ruled that California is her children’s home state, and last week an insider told People that she wants to “focus on what’s best for the kids” and be candid about theirs custody issues spoke.
“She and Jason don’t speak to each other, so they have help communicating about the custody plan,” the source said.
While Olivia is “heartbroken over the custody drama,” she still wants her kids to see their dad “as much as possible.”
“She hopes they can figure out the best life situation for everyone,” the insider said of the actress.
Sources say the Life Itself actress and Ted Lasso star rarely speak, preferring to communicate via text or assistants.
She also accused the South of Heaven star of handing over her custody papers “in the most aggressive way,” DailyMail.com exclusively revealed.
