On Thursday, Netflix announced that the popular superhero series would be renewed for a fourth season. But season 4 will serve as the last of the show.
“I’m so excited that the incredibly loyal fans of The Umbrella Academy we’ll be able to see the fitting end to the Hargreeves siblings’ journey that we began five years ago,” showrunner Steve Blackman said in a statement. “But before we get to that conclusion, we have a great story leading up to season four, one that will keep fans hooked until the last minute.”

Blackman teased what’s to come in Season 4, telling Netflix’s TUDUM that the sibling pack say they’re “always up for a challenge” as they’re trapped in a new timeline dictated by Luther Hargreeves (Hopper). becomes.
“There are new enemies they want to wipe out, but how do they manage without their powers? Is there any way at all to get her back?” Blackman continued. “The stakes have never been greater.”

The third season of the critically acclaimed series premiered in June. In this latest installment, Page’s character came out as transgender — a move that came after the 35-year-old Juno The actor himself announced in December 2020 that he is transgender.
