Acadia National Park is a really cool place that lots of people visit. It’s one of the most visited parks in the country! Acadia has nice beaches, big mountains, forests, and awesome views of the ocean. There are lots of trails to walk on, and you can also bike, kayak, swim, watch birds, and look at stars there.
When you get hungry, you can go to the Jordan Pond House Restaurant in Acadia. People love their special popover bread and tea that they’ve been serving since the 1890s!
Portland is another fun place in Maine. It’s got everything you think of when you think about Maine, like lighthouses and yummy lobster rolls. But it also has cool art stuff and great food and fun things to do. Bar Harbor is a nice town near Acadia National Park. It’s a good place to relax and have fun. You can walk along the coast, watch birds, and eat yummy seafood. Bar Harbor is known for its wild blueberries, so if you’re there in the summer, make sure to try some!
