A tragic incident occurred in east Denver on Saturday night, resulting in the death of a man who was injured in a shooting.
According to authorities, the Denver police received reports of a shooting around 6:40 p.m. near 2100 N. High St.
The location is close to City Park, situated towards the west. Upon receiving a call reporting a gunshot and an injured individual, police promptly responded to the scene.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a man in critical condition. He was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Sadly, despite medical efforts, the man succumbed to his injuries.
Denver police have escalated their investigation to a homicide case and are actively seeking information. As of now, no suspects have been apprehended.
